IMMUNO ASSEY PANELS

Immuno Assay Panels

With Rapid Test Labs' integrated immunochemistry system, we can offer productivity enhancements normally only available to larger laboratories. Using a robotic sample handler, our system increases productivity by allowing continuous access to  reagents and samples. By prioritizing samples according to their priority, the system ensures a consistent turnaround time can be maintained. The system can  process 800-900 chemistry tests per hour (depending on the throughput of the individual analyzers). These equipment analyzes drugs used in transplantations as well as drugs used to treat diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, reproductive disease, and infectious disease.

Immunoassays are used in hospitals, laboratories, and universities to improve  people's health and well-being. In addition to reducing hospital stays and reducing the severity of illness, clinical immunoassays have provided information that can help identify and assess the progression of a disease, which is vital to making good therapeutic choices.

On-site and laboratory immunoassays can detect specific molecules quickly and accurately. An antibody-based immunoassay identifies specific structures of molecules by binding to antibodies. The body produces antibodies when it detects the presence of a foreign molecule (antigen). When the antigen is encountered by the antibody, it will bind to it. Antibodies are found in blood and tissue fluids. Since antibodies are produced against polydisperse, three-dimensional structures of antigens or analytes they are very specific and only bind to those three-dimensional structures. In addition to their use to detect and monitor specific target molecules, monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies can be used for assay reagents after they have been purified from blood.
